Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Governance
• Act as primary regulatory owner of Bitget EU's MiFID II investment services
• Ensure full compliance with MiFID II conduct of business rules, including best execution, suitability, appropriateness, and product governance obligations
• Lead ongoing engagement with the FMA on matters relating to investment services, market conduct, and front office activities
• Maintain fit & proper standards on an ongoing basis as required by FMA and ESMA guidelines
• Commercial & Business Development
• Define and execute Bitget EU's commercial strategy for MiFID II products across European markets
• Drive client acquisition and relationship management across retail, professional, and institutional client segments

Requirements

• Experience with derivative products (been commercially or operationally responsible for derivatives products)
• Deep understanding of financial market infrastructure, including custody, settlement, clearing, and order management systems
• Track record of working in a regulated environment (e.g., banks / investment firms / other licensed institutions) - min. 3 years of experience
