What you'll do Assist in the AFSA license application process and maintain ongoing compliance. Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Conduct AML/CTF monitoring, including transaction reviews and suspicious activity reporting (SAR). Perform risk assessments and internal audits to identify gaps. Liaise with AFSA and other regulators (e.g. AIFC). Train staff on compliance protocols and AML updates. Investigate breaches and recommend corrective actions. Stay updated on Astana and Kazakhstan's crypto regulations and global trends. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in compliance within financial services/crypto/fintech.
• Expertise in AFSA regulations, Astana and Kazakhstan AML laws, and international standards (FATF).
• Certifications: CAMS, ICA Diploma in AML, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Chainalysis).
• Knowledge of cross-border compliance challenges.
